What is a traineeship?
A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement. Traineeships can last anywhere from 6 weeks up to 1 year. These programmes help 16 to 24 year olds prepare for an apprenticeship or job if they lack the appropriate skills or experience.

Sally Harrison
Sharon has been an excellent tutor. She has responded to all my questions vey quickly and even when her job was done, continued to respond and support me. Harvinder was great with the observations. My experience of the training has been absolutely marvellous. So thankyou all very much! Hopefully I have the distinction to show for all the hard work put in by us all.

I have just passed my level 2 NVQ with merit and would like to say my assessor Sharon Smith was a brilliant help. She gave me help and confidence over and above and was always there when I needed her, I don't think I could've done so well without her. She is a true inspiration and a credit to your team.

My relationship with the staff at TRN has always been positive. I find them to be flexible and adaptable and quick to respond to any queries or concerns raised. They also highlight any issues as and when they arise. As a specific example, they recently raised difficulties one of our learners was experiencing and we are working together to resolve these. The issue was highlighted promptly and TRN demonstrated sensitivity and understanding towards both the learner and me as the employer representative.
I have also been impressed by the way they have worked with us during the pandemic and it is our intention to keep working with them.
People First Care Ltd
Initially we chose to work with TRN following a very informative meeting with Claire Gordon, who outlined all the detail regarding funding, payments, apprenticeships etc. We have now worked with them successfully for over two years and the trainees like the fact that they can produce work at their own pace, and have direct contact with their assessor so if they have any queries the support is only a phone call or email away.
Working virtually has been a big change for all of us all, but TRN have still been able to continue to guide and support their trainees through by adapting to individual learning styles and demonstrating great patience and support again with those who are not so IT minded.
I look forward to continuing our working relationship with future trainees.
